Carlisle TyrFil Salutes 2025 Earth Day with a Continued Commitment to its “One Tote, One Tree” Environmental Conservation Initiative

TyrFil, in concert with environmental protection advocate American Forests, has successfully helped regrow wildfire-damaged forest regions across North America since 2008

CARLISLE, PA—April 22, 2025 – Carlisle TyrFil (www.CarlisleTyrFil.com), the global leader in polyurethane flatproofing technology, today recognizes 2025 Earth Day with its continued effort to protect and revitalize U.S. and Canadian endangered natural forest regions. The brand’s successful “One Tote, One Tree” initiative, executed in partnership with American Forests, has reinforced the company’s commitment to investing in world-class science and R&D to bring environmentally supportive product offerings and protective solutions to market.

As the industry leader in tire flatproofing solutions for the past 50 years, Carlisle TyrFil has introduced next generation technology to lower the usage of petrochemicals, oils, and toxic metals and reduce harmful carbon emissions—measurably advancing sustainability within the Off-the-Road (OTR) tire technology sector. Through the creation of its acclaimed “One Tote, One Tree” green program, Carlisle TyrFil, for nearly two decades, has contributed to the replanting of one new tree for each tote of product sold, a minimum of 25,000 new trees annually. In conjunction with this effort, which unites Carlisle TyrFil with its valued network of dealer and OEM customers in a shared campaign to “give back” to planetary conservation efforts, Carlisle TyrFil also donates to ongoing research that is paramount to supporting environmental stability.

Carlisle TyrFil has been proud to execute these initiatives in partnership with American Forests, the nation’s longest-running conservation non-profit founded in 1875 and the leading proponent of the Reforest America movement for better climate solutions, social equity, water security, and biodiversity. The conservancy organization’s forest landscape restoration program, Resilient Forests, restores resilience in forest ecosystems where it has been lost through wildfire damage or climate change. Since Carlisle TyrFil commenced work with American Forests in 2008, the tire flatproofing market leader has helped to replant more than 295,000 trees in both the U.S. and Canada to support essential endeavors to reforest, restore and protect Mother Nature’s natural resources and beauty.

“Working with American Forests, Carlisle TyrFil has been proud to invest in tangible, nature-based solutions to combat climate change, promote social equity, and build a healthier future for people and the planet,” said Jill Deamer, Strategic Marketing Leader for Carlisle TyrFil. “We remain committed to engineering flatproofing technology for the OTR tire market that is designed to both deliver the most trusted, reliable solutions to increase safety and job efficiency for equipment operators, while also simultaneously advancing responsible solutions to help lower harmful carbon and toxic materials emissions into our environment. “
