On September 16, Carlisle TyrFil is proud to welcome the AEM Manufacturing Express to our manufacturing facility as part of its 2026 national tour celebrating the people, innovation, and impact behind equipment manufacturing in America.
Led by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), the Manufacturing Express brings the celebration directly to manufacturing facilities across the country—recognizing the employees whose work keeps industries, businesses, and communities moving forward.

At Carlisle TyrFil, that story stretches back more than five decades. We pioneered the polyurethane tire flatproofing industry in 1971, and since then, more than one billion pounds of TyrFil Flatproofing have been produced.
Behind every one of those pounds is a team.
From manufacturing and engineering to technical support, customer service, sales, and countless roles behind the scenes, our employees have helped build TyrFil into the industry leader it is today.
The Manufacturing Express gives us an opportunity to recognize those contributions—and celebrate the people who continue moving our company and our industry forward.
55 Years of Innovation
Innovation has been part of the TyrFil story from the beginning.
What started in 1971 with a solution designed to eliminate flat-tire downtime has grown into a portfolio of flatproofing technologies serving equipment across construction, rental, mining, material handling, agriculture, and other demanding industries.
That commitment to innovation continues today.
Our TyrFil Recycling Technology provides a way to reuse material recovered from previously flatproofed tires, incorporating up to 65% recycled content into new tire fill. The process helps reduce the use of virgin petrochemical materials while keeping valuable material in use longer—all while maintaining the performance customers expect from TyrFil.
It’s one example of how our team continues to look for better ways to manufacture, serve our customers, and support the industries that depend on our products.
Bringing the Manufacturing Celebration to Carlisle TyrFil
The AEM Manufacturing Express is designed to shine a spotlight on the equipment manufacturing industry and the people who power it. Since launching, the tour has traveled across the country, visiting manufacturing facilities and sharing the stories of the people and communities behind American manufacturing.
When the Manufacturing Express arrives at Carlisle TyrFil on September 16, our employees will have the opportunity to step away from the everyday routine and celebrate what they’ve helped build.
The event will include food, entertainment, interactive activities, and plenty of opportunities to recognize the people who make TyrFil what it is.
And that’s what we’re most excited about.
