Unlike traditional tire flatproofing, TyrFil follows a Reduce, Reuse, Recycle model that extends tire life and minimizes landfill waste.
Reduce
- Uses significantly less oil, petrochemicals, and toxic materials
- Tires last 20-30% longer than air-filled or solid tires, reducing overall consumption
Reuse
- Existing TyrFil can be reused in the flatproofing process
- Tires filled with TyrFil can be retreaded up to 4 times without sacrificing performance
Recycle
- With our Recycling Technology, tires can be filled with up to 65% recycled material
- Since 2005, Carlisle TyrFil has recycled more than 30 million pounds of tire material
